Infusions of Lavendar, Chamomile and Calendula
Little Bum was formulated with a group of of about a dozen mamas who were looking for better for their baby's bottom in 2014. The result was a product free of essential oils but richly aromatic with warm florals from the infused of raw lavendar, chamomile and calendula flowers. The rest of the ingredients are coconut oil, shea butter, mango butter, beeswax, stearic acid, and grapefruit seed extract as a natural preservative.
Safe with cloth diapers
Some diaper creams are notorious for building up and ruining cloth diapers. The big culprits are Oil, Zinc-Oxide and Petroleum Jelly. The ingredients layer into the diaper and are not removed when washed, resulting in a buildup that repels liquids and makes the diapers ineffective. Our Little Bum appropriately melts and wash away during a warm or hot wash (recommended for cloth diapers) because it has none of the problematic ingredients.
